For all my life, painting has been such second nature to me that I live and breathe it. It is my salvation, passion, self-expression, addiction, escape from reality, best friend, nostalgia and euphoria. My art comes from dreams, Poland, old family photographs, music, travels, unexpected circumstances and just everyday occurrences. When I paint time stands still. My brush becomes in tune with all of my emotions and with each stroke I whisper my own story onto the canvas. I imagine what the final painting will look like, and intuitively select colors that will work together. My intention is for my paintings to communicate with the viewers in such a way that they heighten their senses. I want to evoke the same feelings that I felt when the subject was being painted. The rest I leave up to the viewers’ own interpretation.
